Eurofins Appoints New President and National Business Line Leader in Canada
Eurofins is proud to announce the appointment of Waylon Sharp as President and National Business Line Leader, Food & Feed Testing, in Canada. Waylon brings over 15 years of extensive experience in operations, leadership, and business strategy within the food and agricultural industries.
Under Waylon’s leadership Eurofins is poised to reinforce its position as a trusted partner for food, supplement, and cannabis producers in Canada, both locally and internationally, offering tailored solutions to meet complex industry challenges.
Prior to joining Eurofins, Waylon held key roles at Bureau Veritas, including Vice President of Commercial Operations, Chief Operating Officer, and Director of Food Services. His tenure was marked by implementing growth strategies and operational excellence in North America.
Waylon also contributed significantly to Maxxam Analytics as Director of Sales for the Food Science and Safety Division, where he supported clients in navigating complex regulatory environments.
A graduate of the Ivey Business School at Western University with a Master of Business Administration, Waylon has demonstrated his commitment to leadership development and innovative problem-solving within the scientific testing sector. His expertise aligns seamlessly with Eurofins’ mission to deliver reliable, high-quality testing solutions globally.
